This document was developed so as to provide researchers with a simple, preliminary guide that will call attention to key sources of information concerning the photographic and documentary evidence of glacier activity at this site. It uses maps and photographs to accurately identify and assign deglaciation ages to specific landscape features and reports the dendrochronologic and lichenometric evidence for past glacial activity. As such, it should be of particular interest to workers who wish to study the impact of climate change on the Illecillewaet Glacier and can be used by field workers who are interested in locating former icefronts.
