Glaciers Were Much Larger in the Early 1800's

How much ice loss is this?
The pie diagrams show how much area was lost by some of the glaciers since the late 1800s. If the glaciers were about 30 m thick (100 ft), then in Canada's Glacier National Park alone the ice lost would have filled a water tower that was at least 5 km tall by 5 km wide!
